Yaqeen Education Foundation (Yaqeen) was established solely to seek pleasure of Allah in 1994 by Syed Mohammad Husain, a Chartered Accountant and Hamid Nawaz Jafer, a businessman and philanthropist. The founding team was later on joined by Kamran Chaapra. Yaqeen was later incorporated in 2001 as a non-profit foundation, under the companies' ordinance 1984.

Yaqeen first established in Karachi, Pakistan aimed to bridge the divide between Maulvi and Mr. Aligarh and Deoband. The objective was to develop and provide a universal education system up to Secondary Education with a fine blend of World class contemporary education, Islamic teachings, culture, values, beliefs and practices. At Post Secondary level the student would then choose to be a scholar, Doctor, engineer, Chartered Accountant or Politician etc.

The central idea of Yaqeen education System is to educate and equip the new generation of Muslims / Muslimahs to enter the rapidly changing, volatile milieu of Global and knowledge based society with excellence, competence, confidence and competitively. Proud of being a Muslim/Muslimah and conscious of their Islamic heritage and mantel as well as the responsibility bestowed on them to be well wisher of the humanity as a whole and to invite them towards goodness and deterring them from ill deeds.

Yaqeen is a transnational Islamic faith based, non-profit, non-government and non-political education foundation with the sole objective of promoting and providing a World class education focused towards building and new generation of Muslims/Muslimahs worldwide to enter the global, knowledge based society with confidence, competence equipped with a through knowledge of Islamic teaching and laced with Islamic values, character and with a broad vision to be in the mainstream as a moderate Muslim / Muslimahs pro-active in international humanitarian causes, brought up with a problem solving and tolerant attitude proud of their Islamic heritage and responsibility placed on them by God and His beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) to serve the humanity and invite them towards Good virtues and deter them from ill virtues according to time with wisdom.
