It is the part of smart classroom. E-Library is a collection of multimedia based information, sources, resources, and services, which supports the Smart Classroom.

Internet has revolutionized the way conventional libraries work. Library members have the access to the libraries' digital assets remotely via Internet.

Digital libraries (e-Libraries) facilitate researchers to get up-to-date knowledge with minimum cost. In the past, library members used to study outdated old editions of the journals or books. New editions were out of their reach due to their costs. We all accept that there is an importance of the printed material like books. But since they are too expensive for common people to purchase, we should adopt the same strategy as HEC did.

The resources used to set up a library require Human resource, Capital (investment) and Suitable place.

E-library is the solution and replacement of library. E-library materials consist of any form of multimedia and the material in digital format which we can easily access to via Internet/LAN with computer. Remember that we still have provision to print (hard copy) the e-library material.
